Camerry Icecream Turns World Ice Cream Day into a Celebration of Gratitude, Honouring Chennai Police

Chennai, July 19, 2026: On World Ice Cream Day, Camerry, a premium ice cream brand, celebrated a different flavour of love—gratitude. Inspired by the belief that love has many flaband vours and facets, the brand dedicated the day to the men and women of the Chennai Police, who stand guard every day so that citizens can live, work and sleep peacefully.

As a heartfelt gesture of appreciation, Camerry distributed its signature ice creams to police personnel across Chennai, recognising their unwavering commitment to public safety and service. The initiative centred around the emotion of Gratitude, turned World Ice Cream Day into an occasion to honour those who quietly protect the city every day. Camerry distributed its signature ice creams to police personnel creating moments of surprise, smiles and heartfelt connection. More than an ice cream giveaway, the initiative was a celebration of service, resilience and selfless commitment.

The gratitude drive took place across three key locations in Chennai:

  • Morning: Saidapet Police Station
  • Afternoon: Along the route from Saidapet Police Station to Marina Beach
  • Evening: Marina Beach

A specially branded Camerry van, accompanied by brand promoters dressed in Camerry T-shirts, travelled across these locations to personally thank police personnel and present them with Camerry ice creams. Through warm interactions and gratitude-themed messages, the campaign celebrated the everyday heroes whose service often goes unnoticed.

Speaking about the initiative, the Managing Director of Camerry Ice Cream Mr. M. D. Stephen said: “This World Ice Cream Day, we wanted to celebrate the people who stand guard and watch over us, enabling us to live and sleep peacefully every day. Our Gratitude Drive is a small token of appreciation for their extraordinary service.”

The Gratitude Drive reflects Camerry’s commitment to spreading happiness while celebrating the people who make a difference in our everyday lives.
